What You Can Expect From Us

Communication

You can reach me via email, text, or phone. I respond to inquiries within 24 hours. If you need a faster response, please feel free to text me at 404-590-6884.

For sensitive information, we’ll use the secure Vault within RightCapital or encrypted email.

Confidentiality

We maintain the highest standards of confidentiality. Your personal and financial information is protected through our data security and cybersecurity protocols.

Your information is never shared with other clients. Any referrals you provide remain fully confidential, and your personal details are never disclosed.

Custom Service

Every client’s situation is unique. Our approach is intentionally customized to your goals, values, and financial priorities, not built from a one-size-fits-all template.

Overview

You’ve enrolled in our Ongoing Financial Planning and Investment Management service.

This includes:

  • A private client portal
  • A Discovery & Organization Meeting (60 minutes)
  • A Plan Delivery & Strategy Meeting (90 minutes)
  • Support implementing your top one to two priority recommendations
  • Ongoing planning updates and portfolio management

Outcomes / Deliverables

Our goal is to provide a plan you can begin implementing right away. One that offers clear direction, identifies gaps, and brings confidence and peace of mind.

You’ll also have ongoing access to your private client portal to track progress and make updates as your life evolves.

Payment Policy

Fees are billed monthly, in arrears, on the first of each month.

Our Process

1. Create Your Private Client Portal Login

You’ll receive an email from RightCapital with instructions to create your secure client portal.

2. Discovery & Data Entry Meeting

We’ll enter your financial information together during our discovery meeting so nothing feels overwhelming or confusing.

If you’d like a head start, I’ll provide a checklist outlining what to gather in advance. Many clients prefer working through this live, which allows us to clarify details, answer questions in real time, and ensure everything is entered accurately.

Plan for 60–90 minutes for this meeting.

3. Plan Delivery & Strategy Session

Plan for a 90-minute meeting to review your financial plan, recommendations, and next steps in detail.

4. Implementation Support

Following plan delivery, we’ll focus on implementing your top one to two priority recommendations over the next month.

1. How long does it take to create my plan?

Creating your plan is a collaborative process. Once all qualitative and quantitative information is gathered, plan development typically takes 1–3 months, depending on complexity.

2. How will I share sensitive information?

We use the secure RightCapital Vault for sharing confidential information.

3. Will you help implement recommendations?

Yes. After plan delivery, we’ll focus on implementing your top one to two priority recommendations during the following month.

4. Is this service ongoing or one-time?

Financial planning works best as an ongoing relationship. Our engagement includes annual planning updates, portfolio management, and semi-annual review meetings as your life and goals evolve.

Ben Loughery, CFP®

I founded Lock Wealth Management to help retirees and those nearing retirement feel confident about their financial decisions without feeling like just another number at a large advisory firm.

I’m based in Atlanta, GA. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and continuing to learn. I believe clear communication, follow-through, and long-term relationships are the foundation of effective financial planning.
